The National Felon League, aka the NFL, has a lot of popularity in the United States of America. Which is sad really, because they are all just glorified Felons who get paid millions of dollars just to chase a ball up and down a field for hours at a time. What a bore of a sport huh? Well it's still popular and people just plain love the NFL, which is their choice and that can be respected. But what really gets me is the attitude of these big "athletes" and their attitude toward actual athletes and me who do more then they do by far! Ok consider the offensive line, or whatever its called, and look at the men. What do they all have in common? They are all common, overweight American citizens who do nothing more than stand there with their unfit, fat selves and try to keep other large men from tackling or hitting the actual athlete Quarter Back. I'm sorry, but a 300 plus pound man that just stands there and does jack for 3 hours or whatever is not an athlete! He's more like a bouncer at a bar club or something like that.
And some of the men who are more athletic spend most of the game sitting on a bench, run in and chase a ball for a few minutes, then sits back down again and gets millions to do it. Those men, even though they are in better shape, are NOT ATHELTES at all! It's sad that people actually think that most of the felons are actual athletes! I couldn't stand the front line of the offense, but that's because I'm not a fat overweight man, I'm in actual shape. I couldn't run like the running backs, those are true athletes. I couldn't throw like Payton Manning, he is a true athlete just like all the other QB's. I don't deny, even with my hate of the NFL, that some of them are true athletes and good people. But I'm not judging the sport on the minority of the players and their skill and talent, it's on the majority of the sport and most of them are fat men who couldn't do anything else in life so they figured they could stand in a persons way and get millions. Heck, athletes or not (and they are not), they are geniuses. Making millions for that job is a great thing to them and their families, so I will give credit there. But it's not only the NFL that suffers from this sort of thinking.
The MLB is a sport that is similar to the NFL in one major way, well two if you count that they both use a ball, and that's that they both have people that aren't athletic in any way, shape, or form and are STILL called athletes! It's crazy! I'm sorry, but a big fat guy that hits a ball and pathetically attempts "running" in a diamond shape is in no way an athlete. It makes no sense to me that some of them aren't just considered fat guys with a team uniform on, because in reality that's all they really are. Again, there are real athletes in MLB, I have no question or doubts about that in any way whatsoever, but it just drives me nuts that some of these people can be called things they aren't and yet they will look at other REAL athletes and slam them and say they aren't worth anything and couldn't play a real sport, when these guys couldn't do what they do EVER and are really just overweight american men who do nothing! I think the NBA is full of great athletes, most of them really work out and hard to do what they do. And most NASCAR drivers are athletes, although in a different way. With the heat, g forces, and abilities it takes to race consisitently for 400 or 500 miles those guys are true athletes. Their bodies are shown to go through the same stress and workout as a marathon runner, albiet inside a car instead of actually running. Some of the NASCAR drivers aren't athletes, don't get me wrong there either. You don't have to be an athlete to race in a car, but to do well and be up front you must, it's almost a requirement considering how NASCAR is nowdays. There are men that are called "start and parkers" and they run a few laps, have a fake problem, and pull out of the race to collect their check. Those men are like linebackers, who are not athletic in any way. But most of them absolutely destroy most NFL players and a good amount of the MLB players. You can tell that NASCAR is the sport I pull for, and that gets stepped on all the time! I won't stand for it when somebody will look at convicted felons who are fat morons and call them athletes, but look at a driver and say that "just because he drives, I drive too he's not an athlete!" People need to get their facts straight before praising the overweight obese american, but yet overlooking marathron caliber athletes and saying they aren't because they don't understand what's involved. Get a clue people.
